God spoke to me in March last year and showed me a great revival was coming upon the earth very soon. My eyes were closed at the time and I saw fire all over the earth. I heard the Lord say that this coming revival would be the greatest revival ever seen on the face of the earth. He told me to repent from secular Christianity and return to him with a whole heart, to do the things I did at first and to return to the prayer closet.
I recalled a prophetic word given by Smith Wigglesworth about revival and searched for it on Google. This is what he said:
‘God will shake Australia, New Zealand and the islands in the South Pacific with a mighty move of the Holy Spirit that will spread throughout the world, just before the return of Jesus. This outpouring of the Holy Spirit will surpass all others and be the greatest revival in the history of mankind.’
In response, I set up a prayer room in my closet (walk-in robe) and have been seeking God and praying for the nations there ever since. I believe with all my heart that God is about to move mightily across the nations and he’s calling people to align themselves with him, the gospel and the word of God.
I have committed myself to seek, serve and pray because, ‘God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, so that whoever believes in him shall not perish, but have everlasting life.’ (John 3:16).
I am willing to deny myself, take up my cross and follow him (Matthew 16:24) because that word ‘love’ in John 3:16 is ‘agape’ in Greek, which means a devotional love that impels God to sacrifice himself for every person. There is a world out there that doesn’t know how precious they are to God and how much he wants to bring them into his heart and kingdom.
God is moving and he’s calling you. Blessings, Lynda
